Texas Rifles Unit Impressions

We create unit impressions to fit the events that are typical to our schedule for the year. Currently, we have a primary Confederate impression, an alternate Confederate impression, and a US impression, which covers the needs of the events we attend.

Army of the Tennessee

This is our primary impression, and is suitable for Shiloh, the Vicksburg campaign, the retreat of the AoT to Atlanta, and the Red River campaign in the west.

Army of Northern Virginia

This is our alternate COnfederate impression for when we attend major national events such as Antietam, Gettysburg, Wilderness, to the surrender at Appomatox.

US Army

When we attend events as federal forces, we center the portrayal around the 13th US Infantry Regiment, one of the new regiments added to the Regular Army in 1861.

We will also portray ante bellum or post bellum regular Army troops at special events. Pre war impression is usually built on the 8th Infantry, while post war is usually of the 35th Infantry.
